Hard Mode is here

  • •Daily Hard Mode: a fresh movie pair each day, with a House Rule that limits the films you can use.
  • •Shorter routes, faster finishes and bonus connections earn more points. Your Screening Report shows the breakdown.
  • •Compete on a separate Hard Mode leaderboard, with its own stats alongside Daily.
  • •Hard Match brings the score chase to multiplayer: shared rules, highest score wins.

Puzzle balance fixes

  • •Adjusted a daily pairing to give players more familiar routes between the films.

Results fixes

  • •Made sure suggested solution routes are available for players who finish just after the daily reset.

Leaderboard fixes

  • •Improved how the daily leaderboard handles temporary loading errors.

Puzzle route fixes

  • •Fixed an unintended shortcut that made a daily puzzle easier than intended.

Daily results & streaks

  • •Fixed an issue that could stop very fast solves from saving.
  • •Protected affected streaks after the puzzle outage.

Puzzle pairing fixes

  • •Replaced a movie pairing that could be completed directly through similar-film suggestions.

Poster loading fixes

  • •Improved poster and cast-photo loading on networks where some images were blocked.

Account fixes

  • •Improved how guest progress carries over when you sign in.
  • •Fixed saved player names after creating an account.

Puzzle stats fixes

  • •Fixed clipped routes and improved scrolling in the puzzle stats panel.

Multiplayer fixes

  • •Improved match pairing reliability.
  • •Fixed countdowns on devices with clocks set incorrectly.

  • •Quick Match now has ranked 1v1. Race a stranger and climb the rankings.
  • •There are 28 badges to earn. Pin your favourites and flex them on every leaderboard. Play now and you'll get the Season 1 badge.
  • •Your Profile got an overhaul. Add a photo, choose a colour for your name, and see your record.
  • •Start a private League and run a daily leaderboard with your friends.

Patch notes: cuts & catching cheaters

  • •Removed Final Cut from the game. Its huge archive-footage cast made it too easy to hop between unrelated movies.
  • •You can now report signed-up players you suspect of cheating.
  • •Tighter cheater detection and a few bug fixes.
  • •Improved matchmaking.
  • •As requested: less Ryan Gosling in puzzles.
