Down-on-his-luck private investigator Parker takes a case involving washed-up actress Veronica Vale and her missing husband. At an abandoned movie studio, he discovers Veronica among a sinister cult promising wealth and glory in exchange for human sacrifice. Parker walks away, but for a desperate gambler with nothing left to lose, resisting temptation may prove impossible.
