Syamsul, a young man driven to despair by being repeatedly rejected by many women in his village, takes a shortcut through sorcery to get what he wants. It doesn’t take long before he’s able to charm the women in the village—including those who are married. However, things soon take a darker turn and spiral out of control. This film is said to be based on and inspired by a series of real-life mystical events that took place in Banda Neira in 1988.
